Congratulations, 2024 Lund Scholar Graduates!

Eight Forever Lund Scholars will cross the stage to receive their degrees from Fresno State this spring, two – Julie Araujo and Grace Morrow – as College of Arts and Humanities Students of Distinction. We celebrate their accomplishments, and can’t wait to see what they do next. Congratulations!

Julie Ann Araujo, Master of Arts, Studio Art

Julie has been named the 2024 Graduate Student of Distinction by the Fresno State Department of Art, Design and Art History. She also received a Dean’s Medal Honorable Mention. Her 2023 series, “One Size Does Not Fit All”, earned her an Emerging Artist award from the California Arts Council and an Artist Disruptor award from The Center for Cultural Power. Following graduation, Julie intends to live in Germany with her family to continue her education and to teach.

Grace has been named the 2024 Undergraduate Student of Distinction by the Fresno State Department of Art, Design and Art History. She looks forward to starting her master’s program in Art History at Fresno State this Fall, examining overlooked women artists of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. She ultimately wishes to teach and inspire a love of college in others.
